The Healing Power of Juicing- Feel Better, Faster!

There are so many amazing health benefits! You can get natural energy, you can clean out your system and rejuvenate your body, you can even help your body heal, just by juicing!

Instead of your body constantly trying to work overtime, to process the bad foods that you put into it, and weaken your immune system, juicing give’s your body something good to process and strengthen your immune system!

In this article, I will help you understand the healing power of juicing and how you can feel better, faster!

What Is Juicing

Juicing is when you combine fruits and/or vegetables in a juicer or juicing machine, and it breaks the foods down into a liquid form. It is another way of getting the fruits and vegetables that you need, on a regular basis. If you are one of those people who do not prefer fruits or vegetables on their own, I would recommend you try it!

The best and easiest way to juice is, to buy a juicer! It’s also, a good way to save money and make the juice exactly how you want! There are a lot of good ones out there, but my favorite is, the Ninja Professional Countertop Blender from Amazon! It’s perfect for juicing, and it also comes with its own Ninja cups, so you can make it and take it with you!

Juicing is very simple! Just pick your favorite fruits, vegetables, or both and create your masterpiece! Make it fun and remember, it’s an awesome way to give your body the nutrients it needs to heal and rejuvenate!

Health Benefits

As I mentioned earlier, this has amazing health benefits! I’m sure you have a busy schedule and sometimes, it’s hard to sit down and eat a 3 course meal, but with juicing, you’re getting your regular serving of fruits and vegetables all in one delicious drink! Your body thrives off of the nutrients that are found in fruits and vegetables!

Juicing has been known to lower cholesterol, help prevent cardiovascular disease, cancer, and different types of inflammatory diseases, such as, rheumatoid arthritis. It builds your immune system, helps you have healthier skin and gives you more energy! Adding vegetables to your juice, is a good probiotic and helps improve digestion and your overall gut health!

It really can have amazing healing power, and you don’t have to do it every day. You can still eat solid foods while juicing, and also, make sure you’re getting the fiber and other nutrients your body needs. It’s just good to incorporate it into your routine, as much as you can, so you can receive the best benefits from it!

Recipes

So, you have a lot of information, in regard to the health benefits, and now my favorite part, the recipes! Here are 2 of my favorite recipes that I make all the time! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

This one is my favorite, because one of the health benefits is, it prevents migraines, and it also helps, when I have a migraine!

  • ½ pineapple
  • 3-4 leaves kale or a bunch of spinach
  • 1 stick of celery
  • ¼ lemon with peel
  • ½ inch ginger root or powder

This one gives me lots of energy!

  • 1 cup strawberry
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup apple
  • 3-4 leaves kale or a bunch of spinach
  • 1 tsp Matcha tea powder

These are just a couple of examples, of my favorite recipes! You can make yours however you want! It’s best to try different recipes until you come up with your favorite, and when you do, I would love to hear about it! You can comment below and tell me what you came up with!

  1. I’m seriously thinking about moving onto a proper juicer and getting away from the store-bought smoothies after watching a program on them about a month ago – do you realise how much sugar they put into them?

    I didn’t actually realise how many health benefits were linked to these juices before reading this – it’s basically a glass full of supplements! 

    If I wanted to make a cheaper fruit smoothie – what ingredients would you recommend?

    1. Exactly! I couldn’t agree more! A lot of the store bought juices have unnatural ingredients in them as well! When you make your own juices, you know you are getting the best, all natural ingredients! 

      My favorite ingredients are, strawberries and bananas! It’s a great combination and really healthy for you too!

This is a wonderful article and I am sure going to try out the recipes.  I cannot juice everyday though because my tummy will be running like a nonsense, so you are right on this one, we dont have to do it everyday.  I would do juicing to cut on the fats mostly and lately I am suffering from adult acne, its been months now, maybe juicing will help me to detox and get rid of them.  I however tend to get ulcers when drink to many acidic stuff, does juicing cure ulcers or intensifies it?

    1. LOL!! I completely understand! I am not able to juice everyday either, but it is definitely good to incorporate it whenever you can! 

      Diet is a big culprit of skin issues, including acne. When dealing with skin issues, it’s best to start from the inside/out! Making healthier food choices, will really help your system fight, whatever is causing the skin issue!

      I would recommend consulting with your doctor, when it comes to juicing and ulcers! That is a very serious condition and I definitely wouldn’t want it to worsen because of juicing!

  4. I have always liked almost any kind of juices. I know that juice in tetra packs is full of various additives and preservatives which is not healthy at all. Sometimes I bought a drink made from natural fruits or vegetables which is made straight in front of you. It costs twice or even more than in the pack. Homemade juicing made in my own blender could be the best and cheaper soulution to dring healthy and tasty natural juices. Need to think about purchasing one.

    1. I totally agree! It’s hard to say what is in an, already made juice, but when you make it fresh, at home, it’s not only cheaper, but better for you as well!

    She suffers from too many migraines and therefore she feels tired all the time, she always wanted to start drinking juices, but the truth is that she never knew how to do it, what it was the best to combine and for what use or help is each fruit or vegetable, fortunately I found your article and I showed it to her, and the truth is that she is super excited with the idea of starting with her juices.

    1. This makes me so happy, to hear that, this article helped you and your wife! I have suffered from migraines for a really long time, and I have learned that, they are not only genetic, but stress and diet can be a huge cause of them as well! 

      I noticed that when I started eating healthier and paying attention to the stresses that triggered them, my migraines subsided tremendously!

      Constantly taking medication to get rid of migraines, can cause other health issues as well, such as, liver damage and ulcers! All natural is the way to go when dealing with migraines!

  7. The Ninja blender looks like a much better way of making juice, because like a Vitamix, it liquefies the whole fruit instead of separating it from the pulp. Not only does this keep the fiber and the other good things in the pulp, but you can also make more juice with less fruit. The Ninja is a lot cheaper than a Vitamix, though.

    1. Very good points! They are so true! If you’re looking for something that is cheaper, but will get the job done and is a quality product, the Ninja juicer is the way to go!
